Price comparison in this market is mostly theatre, because almost nobody quotes the same unit. These are the per-dose figures the companies publish, converted to nothing and adjusted for nothing — just put side by side.

01Read the unit first

“From $1.63” and “from $18 a month” are not comparable numbers.

One is a dose, one is a subscription, and which is cheaper depends entirely on how often you have sex — a variable the advertising is careful never to mention. A monthly plan at $18 is excellent value at eight doses a month and poor value at one.

So this page ranks only the entries that publish a per-dose price, and states the basis of each. Everything else is listed below it rather than quietly dropped, because a product whose price you cannot determine is a finding in itself.

03The other cost

What it costs to be allowed to buy it.

The consultation is a separate charge at most of these services, and it is where the real spread sits. A video visit with a clinician who can ask a follow-up question ranges from about thirty dollars to about eighty, which is a meaningful difference for the same thing.

04Not comparable

Reviewed, but with no per-dose price to rank.

These are priced by subscription, by bottle, by fill, or not published at all. That is not automatically a criticism — a monthly plan is a legitimate way to sell a medicine — but it does mean the number cannot be set against the ones above.

05The cheapest route of all

A prescription you already have, filled with a discount card.

If a doctor has already assessed you — at a physical, for something unrelated, at any point — you may not need to buy an online consultation at all. Ask for the prescription at an appointment you were having anyway, then fill it with a discount card at a retail counter.

That route pays nobody a commission, which is precisely why it does not appear in most price comparisons. It is usually the lowest number available to you.

A cost worth counting

The expensive outcome is the undiagnosed one.

Erectile dysfunction is often the first sign of vascular disease, and a cheap tablet that treats the symptom without anyone checking the cause is not a saving. Have your blood pressure and blood work done.
