Our assessment
After five compounded products, it is worth stating what this one is not. It is not a combination. It is not compounded. It does not count an amino acid or a vitamin as one of its ingredients. It is tadalafil — one of the two molecules that made PDE5 inhibitors first-line therapy — sold as the approved generic, and ZipHealth states plainly that their generics are FDA-approved.
The dose options are the tell that someone clinically literate set this up. 2.5mg and 5mg are offered for daily use and 10mg and 20mg on demand, which is exactly how tadalafil is licensed and exactly how a prescriber would use it. Nothing here sits above a ceiling or on a schedule the drug was never studied for. That sounds like faint praise. Against the rest of this page it is not.
It is also a one-time purchase rather than a recurring plan, which removes the retention incentive that shapes so much of this market. You buy thirty tablets and you are done until you decide otherwise.
On price, the comparison is the whole argument of this page in one line. Under a dollar a tablet for the FDA-approved molecule, against $1.63 to $2.18 a dose for the compounded combinations reviewed above. The unapproved products are the expensive ones. Worth also pricing it against your local pharmacy with a discount card, which can land lower still.
Now the caveat, and it is the same one that applies to every online service here: the consultation is about two minutes and involves no blood pressure reading, no examination and no blood work. To ZipHealth's credit the review is done by board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners, and the side effect list published on the page includes low blood pressure. But two minutes of questions cannot find the diabetes, the lipid problem or the testosterone deficiency underneath the symptom, and it cannot notice that a man's erectile dysfunction is his cardiovascular disease announcing itself early.
So: if you have been properly assessed and need the medicine, this is a sound way to get it — arguably the soundest on this page. If nobody has examined you, the medicine is not the part you are missing.
